Fall reminds us that even when things fall apart, there’s beauty in the letting go. This journal is here to help you walk through that truth one week at a time, with space for Scripture, reflection, and honest prayer. Here’s how to make it meaningful for you:
Before you even open to the week’s page, pause. Take a breath. Let your shoulders drop. Whisper a short prayer: “Lord, meet me here.”
This isn’t about rushing through—it’s about showing up.
Each week begins with a verse chosen to anchor you. Don’t skim it—linger. Read it out loud. Write it in your own words. Let it settle into your spirit like leaves resting on the ground.
The short reflection for each week is like a guidepost, pointing you back to God’s presence. Read it as if He’s speaking directly to you. Circle or underline words that tug at your heart.
Each page offers a simple prayer to help you begin. Read it slowly and then add your own words. If all you can manage is tears or silence, that counts too. God hears it all.
The prompts are not homework—they’re invitations. Write what comes to mind, whether it’s one sentence or three pages. Use the space for messy, raw, unedited thoughts. You’re not writing for anyone else but you and God.
This isn’t just a one-and-done. Come back to the same Scripture or prompts during the week. Add new notes, fresh prayers, or things you notice God showing you in daily life.
Miss a day? That’s okay. This journal is not about perfection, it’s about presence. Just pick up where you left off. God isn’t keeping score—He’s keeping you.
Remember: Faith is rebuilt slowly, like a harvest in season. One prayer at a time. One Scripture at a time. One moment of surrender at a time. Let this journal be your quiet companion as you discover beauty in the broken places and hope in the falling leaves.
Down here in South Louisiana, August doesn’t ask, it insists. The sun hangs heavy in the sky, the soil cracks dry beneath our feet, and the air itself seems to whisper: “slow down… settle in.” This is a month for root work, for stripping away the extra and tending to what matters most.
And that’s exactly what this calendar is for.
Not hustle. Not checklists.
Just coming back home, to your heart, your hope, and your faith.
An invitation to rebuild. Not from scratch, but from the sacred center of who you are in Christ.
Every day offers a simple Scripture and focus, just a drop of truth to steep in your spirit like a good cup of sweet tea. Don’t rush it. Don’t strive. This isn’t about keeping up, it’s about staying close.
1. Start with Silence
Before you even read the verse, take a breath. Let your shoulders drop. Let the noise hush. Whether you're standing at the sink, driving to work, or rocking a baby in the dark, pause. Make room for the Holy Spirit to speak.
2. Read the Word Like It’s Alive (Because It Is)
Each Scripture was chosen to anchor you in truth, to remind you of who God is when life gets loud. Read it slowly. Read it again. Whisper it out loud. Let it get down deep.
3. Let the Focus Settle Over You
Each day's focus isn't a task, it's a truth to carry in your spirit. Like dew on a morning leaf, let it gently rest on your thoughts throughout the day. Ask God, “What are You trying to rebuild in me today?”
4. Pray Simply, Sincerely
You don’t need fancy words. Just real ones. Use the verse to shape your prayer. Maybe it sounds like, “Lord, teach me to trust again,” or “Help me lay this down.” Maybe some days, it’s just tears. That counts too.
5. Revisit as Needed
Miss a day? Grace is built in. This isn’t about perfect attendance, it’s about presence. Come back when you’re ready. God’s not going anywhere.
We don’t rebuild faith with grand gestures. We rebuild it by returning to the basics:
One Scripture at a time
One whispered prayer
One surrendered moment in a messy, holy day
This weekly calendar won’t give you all the answers, but it will give you space to be held by the One who holds it all together.
Print it. Pin it. Save it to your phone.
But most importantly, live it.
Because friend, your faith was never meant to fall apart.
It was meant to hold, even in the August heat.

Summer in the South teaches us something sacred: when the heat rises, we lighten our load. We shed the layers, slow the pace, and sip sweet tea on the porch while the breeze whispers peace. That same invitation is woven into our faith.
This month, as we step into the Freedom to Flourish series, we start by letting go.
Letting go of old wounds.
Letting go of unrealistic expectations.
Letting go of the lie that we have to carry it all alone.
Hebrews 12:1 reminds us to “lay aside every weight,” and Psalm 55:22 says to “cast your burden on the Lord.” He’s not asking you to fake strength, He’s offering to carry what’s too heavy.
Let it go, friend. Not because it doesn’t matter, but because you do.
Use these prayer card throughout the weeks as a gentle reminder: You don’t have to hold onto everything. Some things are meant to be released, like steam rising from a gumbo pot or worries left in the hush of a quiet bayou.
Take a deep breath.
Whisper the prayer.
And step into the lightness only God can give.

Life is full of battles—some seen, some unseen. Every day, we face challenges that test our faith, shake our confidence, and try to pull us away from God’s truth. But as believers, we are not defenseless. God has given us everything we need to stand strong, walk boldly, and fight victoriously.
This month, our March Journal: The Full Armor of God is designed to help you put on God’s protection daily, preparing your heart and mind to face whatever comes your way with confidence in Christ.
In Ephesians 6:10-18, Paul reminds us that our battles aren’t just physical but spiritual. The enemy works through fear, doubt, and discouragement, trying to weaken our faith and shake our identity in Christ.
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes." – Ephesians 6:10-11
This scripture reminds us that strength doesn’t come from us—it comes from the Lord. When we suit up in His armor, we are equipped to stand firm, fight back, and claim victory in every battle.
This guided journal is broken down into weekly reflections on each piece of the Armor of God, with scripture readings, journal prompts, and prayer reflections to help you apply these truths to your life.
Read & Reflect – Take time each week to study the scripture and ask God to reveal His truth.
Journal Your Thoughts – Use the prompts to dig deeper, process struggles, and celebrate victories.
Pray with Purpose – Ask God for strength, wisdom, and guidance as you walk in His protection.
Take Action – Live out your faith boldly, knowing that you are fully equipped in Christ.
To help you dive deeper, I’ve created a free March Journal: The Full Armor of God, filled with:
Weekly scripture readings
Guided journal prompts
Reflection questions
Space for personal prayers & victories

This month, let’s commit to wearing the full armor of God daily, staying grounded in His truth, and walking with confidence in the victory He has already won for us.
Which piece of armor do you feel God is calling you to focus on this month? Share in the comments—I’d love to pray for you!
